Radiology Techs Days

AdventHealth Waterman is hiring a full-time Radiology Technologist (Days) at its hospital campus in Tavares, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images that meet department standards - Position patients and manipulate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to complete requested procedures safely and efficiently - Apply radiation safety principles (time, distance, shielding) to maintain ALARA exposure levels for patients and staff - Provide direct patient care across all age groups — infant through geriatric — including transport and infection control - Maintain accurate, timely documentation within the EMR and PACS systems using correct patient demographic and exam data - Support Surgery and Trauma imaging needs within the technologist's scope of practice ### What we're looking for - ARRT registration in Radiography — RT(R)(ARRT) required - State of Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist (R.T.-CERT) required - BLS/CPR certification required - 1+ year of post-certification radiologic technology experience, or new graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program - High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred - Proficiency with radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, PACS, EMR, and basic computer applications ### What's included - Pay range: $21.56–$40.09/hour (~$44,845–$83,387 annualized) - Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 - Relocation assistance up to $3,000 - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - CME and career development resources ### About the practice AdventHealth Waterman is a faith-based, not-for-profit hospital located in Tavares, FL, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest faith-based health systems in the country. The facility serves Lake County residents with a full range of inpatient and outpatient services, including diagnostic imaging, surgery, and trauma care. This day-shift position includes one weekend day per week.
