About this role

A full-time Mammography Technologist opportunity at AdventHealth Waterman, a faith-based health system, located in Tavares, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform 2D and 3D mammography examinations following provider orders and departmental protocols to ensure optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis. - Position patients and operate mammography equipment, adjusting technical factors and compression as needed. - Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR and PACS systems. - Collaborate with radiologists and the breast imaging team to communicate results and coordinate next steps. - Support patient tracking, recalls, additional imaging coordination, and biopsy scheduling per departmental workflows. - Contribute to breast center initiatives including accreditation preparation, community screening events, and quality improvement activities. ### What we're looking for - RT(M)(ARRT) Registered Mammographer credential (required). - RT(R)(ARRT) Registered Radiology Technologist credential (required). - Minimum 1 year of mammography or radiologic technology experience. - High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate degree preferred. - Proficiency in radiation safety principles (ALARA) and knowledge of PACS systems. - Strong communication skills and ability to maintain composure and professionalism under stressful conditions. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $26.08 – $48.50 (approximately $54,246 – $100,880 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one. - Paid time off from day one and 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Waterman is a community hospital in Tavares, Florida, part of the AdventHealth system, a large faith-based not-for-profit health network.
