About this role
AdventHealth Riverview is hiring a PRN Nurse Technician to support inpatient care delivery under the direction of registered nurses at its Riverview, Florida campus.
### What you'll do
- Assist in patient care tasks including vital signs, blood pressure recording, blood glucose monitoring, and input/output documentation.
- Perform treatments and direct patient care appropriate to patient age, mobility, acuity, and cultural background.
- Follow CDC isolation guidelines, apply proper PPE, and enforce infection control and safety policies.
- Participate in nursing history collection and report age-appropriate behavioral or physiological abnormalities to the supervising RN.
- Respond appropriately in clinical emergencies and support quality improvement initiatives.
- Float between assignments and adapt to varying care settings within the facility.
### What we're looking for
- Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program with at least one semester of Nursing Fundamentals completed, OR completed an accredited nursing program within the past year without yet obtaining RN or LPN licensure.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required).
- Understanding of age-specific care requirements across geriatric, adult, adolescent, and pediatric populations.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent duties with close attention and mental focus.
- Prior experience as a nursing assistant (preferred, 1+ year).
### What's included
- Pay range: $15.87–$25.38 per hour (approximately $33,008–$52,790 annualized at full-time equivalent).
- PRN/per-diem scheduling with day shifts available.
