What You Will Do
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated physician to join a closed ICU team defined by a supportive culture and a stable environment with limited turnover. You will work alongside a collaborative group of colleagues who value team camaraderie and are fully prepared to provide mentorship and training for advanced bedside procedures to ensure your success within the practice.
- Join an established team of 5 physicians and 6 APPs
- Practice setting: Closed ICU
- Employed position within a nonprofit health system
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine
- Fellowship training in Critical Care or Pulmonary/Critical Care
- Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
- Deliver comprehensive critical care through daily bedside rounds and total-system evaluations, ensuring every clinical, psycho-social, and ethical need of the patient is addressed
- Perform life-saving interventions and advanced bedside procedures, including complex catheter placements and airway management, to stabilize and support patients in their most vulnerable moments

What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Verified by local Credentialing Office
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
