What You Will Do
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Cardiologist to join a high-volume, employed practice with a robust internal referral base and the comprehensive diagnostic resources of the Ascension Saint Agnes cardiovascular network.
- Join an established team of 8 physicians and 7 APPs
- Call structure: 1 week every 4-6 weeks
- Practice setting: Outpatient and inpatient
- Employed position within a nonprofit health system
- Lead comprehensive patient care journeys by balancing a dedicated outpatient practice with essential inpatient rounds to ensure continuity of care from the clinic to the bedside.
- Deliver life-saving diagnostic insights through the expert performance and interpretation of TTE, TEE, and nuclear stress tests to guide precise treatment plans.
- Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
- Board Certification in Echocardiography preferred
- Fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease

What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
Additional Preferences
Must be able to read or perform TTE, TEE, and nuclear stress tests
