Internal Medicine Hospitalist

Ascension Medical Group is hiring a full-time Internal Medicine Hospitalist to provide inpatient care at their hospital in Baltimore, MD. ### What you'll do - Manage the full spectrum of inpatient internal medicine cases from admission through discharge - Coordinate care with specialists, nursing staff, and ancillary teams across the hospital - Develop and execute individualized treatment plans for hospitalized adult patients - Participate in transitions-of-care planning to support safe patient discharges ### What we're looking for - MD or DO with board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine - Active Maryland medical license or eligibility to obtain one - Demonstrated ability to manage complex inpatient cases independently - Strong collaboration and communication skills within a multidisciplinary team ### What's included - Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience - Malpractice coverage provided through Ascension Medical Group - Access to Ascension health system benefits including medical, dental, and vision - CME allowance and support for ongoing professional development ### About the practice Ascension Medical Group is part of Ascension, one of the largest nonprofit Catholic health systems in the United States, with a broad network of hospitals and clinical resources supporting its providers.
