Physician - Nocturnist

Ascension Medical Group is hiring a board-certified Internal Medicine Nocturnist to join the overnight hospital medicine team at Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, MD. ### What you'll do - Provide overnight inpatient medical care to admitted patients on the hospital medicine service - Manage new admissions and cross-cover existing patients during night hours - Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and ancillary teams to coordinate patient care - Document clinical findings and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record - Respond to urgent patient needs and rapid-response events during night shifts ### What we're looking for - MD or DO with board certification in Internal Medicine - Active Maryland medical license or eligibility to obtain one - Experience in inpatient hospital medicine preferred - Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently during overnight hours - Commitment to patient-centered, high-quality care ### What's included - Compensation details available upon application - Comprehensive benefits package through Ascension Medical Group - Malpractice coverage provided - CME allowance and continuing education support - Retirement and health benefit offerings ### About the practice Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital is a full-service acute care hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, and part of Ascension, one of the largest nonprofit Catholic health systems in the United States.
