Physician - Hospitalist

Ascension Medical Group is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Internal Medicine Hospitalist to join the inpatient team at Ascension Saint Agnes in Baltimore, MD. ### What you'll do - Provide direct inpatient medical care to adult patients across the hospital medicine service - Coordinate discharge planning to ensure safe, timely transitions of care - Participate in quality improvement initiatives to advance patient outcomes - Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including nursing, case management, and specialists - Manage a daily patient census consistent with the demands of a community hospital medicine program ### What we're looking for - MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school - Board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine or Hospital Medicine - Active Maryland medical license or eligibility to obtain one - Demonstrated ability to manage complex inpatient cases independently - Strong communication and care coordination skills ### What's included - Competitive compensation commensurate with experience - Comprehensive benefits package through Ascension Medical Group - Malpractice coverage provided - Access to CME funding and professional development resources ### About the practice Ascension Saint Agnes is part of Ascension, one of the largest non-profit Catholic health systems in the United States, with a longstanding presence in Baltimore's medical community.
