About this role

AdventHealth Tampa is hiring a full-time Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for day and night shifts at its acute care hospital in Tampa, Florida. ### What you'll do - Initiate, maintain, transport, and monitor mechanical ventilators using conventional ventilation modes per policy - Perform airway maintenance including manual resuscitation, oropharyngeal/nasopharyngeal airway insertion, and suctioning - Obtain, analyze, and report arterial blood gas and co-oximetry findings; perform quality controls as required - Respond to Code Blue emergencies and deliver CPR per American Heart Association standards - Assess patients across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations to determine therapy efficacy and adjust treatment per protocol - Document and charge procedures accurately while collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team on patient flow ### What we're looking for - Active Florida State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license — required - NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential — required - BLS and ACLS certifications — required - Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science — required - Minimum 1 year of critical care experience — preferred - Competency to care for all patient populations from neonatal through geriatric ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $23.71–$44.09 (approx. $49,316–$91,707 annually) - Up to $15,000 sign-on bonus - Up to $10,000 relocation assistance - Shift differential pay - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one - Paid time off from day one; 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - 403(b) retirement plan ### About the practice AdventHealth Tampa is a full-service acute care hospital on East Fletcher Avenue serving the greater Tampa Bay region as part of the AdventHealth system, one of the largest faith-based health networks in the United States.
