What You Will Do
Step into a high-impact colorectal surgery role offering advanced minimally invasive and robotic techniques, academic engagement, and the opportunity to shape surgical care within a mission-driven health system.
- Join an established, collaborative surgical team within a high-volume hospital and affiliated outpatient sites, with strong multidisciplinary oncology and GI support services.
- Practice setting: Saint Agnes Hospital and local ambulatory sites
- Access to open, laparoscopic, robotic, and single-port robotic platforms
- Lead an integrated surgical practice by providing expert outpatient consultations and inpatient surgical interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care from the initial office visit through hospital recovery
- Drive diagnostic excellence by interpreting specialized studies in the Anal Physiology Lab to create precise, evidence-based treatment plans for complex colorectal and pelvic floor conditions
- Employed position within a nonprofit health system
- Fellowship training in Colorectal Surgery required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery and Colorectal Surgery
- Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
- Experience with minimally invasive and robotic colorectal surgery strongly preferred; exposure to single-port robotic techniques is highly desirable

What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
