Critical Care Physician

Ascension Medical Group is seeking a full-time Critical Care Physician to join their ICU team in Jacksonville, FL. ### What you'll do - Provide direct patient care for critically ill adults in an intensive care unit setting - Manage complex, multi-system critical illness including mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, and organ support - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nursing, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and specialty consultants - Participate in family meetings and shared decision-making for critically ill patients - Contribute to quality improvement initiatives focused on patient outcomes in critical care ### What we're looking for - MD or DO with completed fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine - Board certification or board eligibility in Critical Care Medicine - Active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain - Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care - Strong communication and team collaboration skills ### What's included - Compensation details available upon application - Benefits package through Ascension Medical Group - Malpractice coverage provided - CME allowance and professional development support ### About the practice Ascension Medical Group is part of Ascension, one of the largest nonprofit Catholic health systems in the United States, with a broad presence across Jacksonville, FL.
