About this role
AdventHealth Littleton is hiring a full-time Emergency Room Nurse Manager to lead the emergency department at its Highlands Ranch campus in Littleton, Colorado.
### What you'll do
- Oversee staff performance, hiring, orientation, scheduling, and disciplinary processes across the ED nursing team.
- Manage department budget and resources, including staffing utilization and cost-control measures.
- Lead quality and performance improvement initiatives, implementing evidence-based practice changes and ensuring regulatory compliance (Joint Commission, OSHA).
- Provide clinical mentorship at the bedside, maintaining personal clinical competencies and supporting staff development.
- Develop and implement department policies, procedures, and process improvement projects in collaboration with interdisciplinary leadership.
- Foster patient, family, staff, and physician satisfaction in alignment with organizational goals.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of critical care or emergency nursing experience.
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required; TNCC preferred.
- At least 2 years of nursing leadership experience preferred.
- Proficiency with electronic health records; Cerner experience preferred.
