Adult Psychiatry Physician

Ascension Medical Group is hiring an Adult Psychiatry Physician to join their inpatient psychiatric team in Appleton, WI. ### What you'll do - Provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment for adult patients in an acute care setting - Lead acute crisis stabilization efforts for patients presenting with psychiatric emergencies - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, social workers, and therapists - Deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care across the continuum of inpatient treatment - Contribute to care planning and coordinate transitions to outpatient services ### What we're looking for - MD or DO with completed psychiatry residency training - Board certification or board eligibility in Psychiatry - Active Wisconsin medical license or eligibility to obtain one - Experience with acute crisis stabilization and inpatient psychiatric care - Strong collaborative skills for working within a multidisciplinary team ### What's included - Competitive compensation through Ascension Medical Group - Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision - Malpractice coverage provided - CME allowance and support for continuing education - Retirement savings plan ### About the practice Ascension Medical Group is one of the largest non-profit health systems in the United States, with a mission centered on delivering compassionate, personalized care.
