About this role
AdventHealth Littleton is hiring a full-time Emergency Department RN for evening shifts (1p–1a) at its hospital in Littleton, Colorado, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors for ED patients.
- Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Respond promptly to code situations, delivering interventions to stabilize patients.
- Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required).
- 1+ year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).
- EKG interpretation skills per unit requirements.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and abstract-reasoning abilities to assess patients and revise care plans in real time.
