Nocturnist Hospitalist

Ascension Medical Group is seeking a Nocturnist Hospitalist to join their inpatient medicine team in Milwaukee, WI. ### What you'll do - Perform overnight clinical assessments and manage inpatient medical cases - Lead patient care decisions during critical overnight hours - Mentor and supervise resident physicians and other healthcare trainees - Coordinate with day-shift hospitalists and nursing staff to ensure continuity of care - Manage admissions, discharges, and acute patient changes through the night shift ### What we're looking for - MD or DO with board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine - Active Wisconsin medical license or eligibility to obtain one - Demonstrated experience in inpatient or hospital medicine - Comfort managing a high-acuity patient census overnight - Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across clinical teams ### What's included - Compensation details available upon application - Supportive clinical environment with structured mentorship expectations - Access to Ascension Medical Group's comprehensive benefits platform ### About the practice Ascension Medical Group is one of the largest nonprofit health systems in the United States, operating a broad network of hospitals and care sites across Wisconsin.
