About this role
AdventHealth Porter is hiring full-time Emergency Department Registered Nurses for day and mid shifts at its Denver, Colorado hospital.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors for ED patients.
- Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
- Respond promptly to code situations, providing interventions to stabilize patients.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians and ancillary departments to coordinate care and maintain accurate, timely medical record documentation.
### What we're looking for
- Active Colorado RN license or multistate Compact RN license (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required).
- EKG interpretation and Advanced Life Support certification per unit requirements.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced emergency environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English required.
- Ability to apply abstract clinical reasoning to assess patients, evaluate interventions, and revise plans of care.
### What's included
- Pay range: $34.26–$59.24/hr ($71,261–$123,219 annualized).
- Sign-on bonus: up to $10,000 for 7a–7p shift; up to $10,000 for 1p–1a shift.
