Certified Nursing Assistant/Patient Care Tech

AdventHealth Tampa is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant / Patient Care Technician for inpatient units — including ICU, PCU, Rehab, Med/Surg, Med/Surg Ortho, and ICU Cardiology — at its Tampa, Florida campus. ### What you'll do - Perform treatments per policy, delivering age-, mobility-, acuity-, and culturally-appropriate patient care across assigned inpatient units - Assist in the delivery of direct patient care as a team member under the direction of a registered nurse - Document and report all procedures in accordance with department policy, and report abnormal findings to the RN - Follow isolation guidelines, use appropriate protective equipment, and enforce safety and infection-control regulations - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the broader healthcare team to support care coordination - Participate in performance improvement activities and support quality standards and initiatives ### What we're looking for - Active CNA certification, CPCT/A certification, or EMT certification (one required) - Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification - High school diploma or equivalent - At least 1 year of applicable PCT experience (preferred) - Prior bedside patient care in an acute care unit, unit secretary, or monitor technician role (preferred) - Demonstrated ability to function appropriately in clinical emergencies ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $15.87–$25.38 (~$33,010–$52,790 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Tampa is a faith-based, full-service acute care hospital located at 3100 E Fletcher Ave in Tampa, Florida, part of the AdventHealth system.
