Physician - Palliative Care Hospice

Ascension Medical Group is hiring a full-time Palliative Care Physician to join its hospice and palliative medicine program in Elk Grove Village, IL. ### What you'll do - Provide comprehensive palliative and hospice medical care to patients with serious illness - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nursing, social work, chaplaincy, and other specialists - Conduct goals-of-care conversations with patients and their families - Manage complex symptom burdens including pain, dyspnea, and psychosocial distress - Participate in care planning and coordination across the continuum of illness ### What we're looking for - MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Hospice and Palliative Medicine - Active Illinois medical license or eligibility to obtain one - Experience working within interdisciplinary palliative or hospice care teams - Strong communication skills for sensitive patient and family interactions - Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate end-of-life care ### What's included - Compensation details available upon application - Access to Ascension Medical Group's comprehensive benefits platform - Support from an established multidisciplinary care team ### About the practice Ascension Medical Group is one of the largest nonprofit health systems in the United States, with a broad clinical network spanning hospitals, clinics, and specialty practices.
