About this role

AdventHealth Parker is hiring a PRN Emergency Department RN with flexibility to work both day and night shifts at its facility located at 9949 S Oswego St, Parker, Colorado. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors on every ED encounter. - Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans based on patient presentation and established standards of care. - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions. - Respond promptly to code situations, delivering stabilizing interventions and coordinating with the broader care team. - Document patient information, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in real time within the medical record. - Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and self-care strategies to support recovery and compliance. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. - Current BLS/CPR certification required. - Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred. - EKG interpretation ability per unit requirements. - Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and critical-thinking skills for a high-acuity environment. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $34.26 – $59.24 (annualized approximately $71,261 – $123,219 at full-time equivalent hours). - PRN schedule with flexibility across day and night shifts. - Access to AdventHealth's professional development and performance improvement programs. ### About the practice AdventHealth Parker is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system with a mission centered on whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit.
