General Surgeon

Ascension Medical Group is hiring a General Surgeon to join Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo in Kokomo, IN. ### What you'll do - Perform elective and urgent general surgery procedures for adult patients - Provide pre-operative and post-operative care and follow-up - Collaborate with hospitalists, specialists, and ancillary staff across the care continuum - Participate in call coverage as part of the surgical team - Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives within the practice ### What we're looking for - MD or DO with completion of an accredited General Surgery residency - Board certified or board eligible in General Surgery - Active Indiana medical license or eligibility to obtain one - Demonstrated commitment to high-quality, patient-centered surgical care - Strong interpersonal and communication skills for a collaborative team environment ### What's included - Compensation details available upon application - Full benefits package through Ascension Medical Group - Malpractice coverage provided by the health system - CME allowance and support for continuing education - Retirement savings plan options ### About the practice Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo is part of Ascension, one of the largest nonprofit Catholic health systems in the United States, offering surgeons access to a broad network of specialists and resources.
