OB Hospitalist - PRN

An OB Hospitalist (PRN) position is available with Ascension Medical Group at Ascension St. Vincent Fishers Hospital in Fishers, IN. ### What you'll do - Provide inpatient obstetric care for laboring and delivering patients across all acuity levels - Manage obstetric emergencies and unassigned OB patients presenting to the hospital - Collaborate with nursing staff, anesthesiology, and other clinical teams to ensure safe delivery outcomes - Cover labor and delivery unit without traditional call obligations - Document clinical encounters and maintain compliance with hospital protocols ### What we're looking for - Board certification or board eligibility in OB/GYN - Active Indiana medical license or eligibility to obtain one - Clinical competency in managing high-acuity obstetric cases - Ability to work flexible PRN shifts within a hospital-based setting - Strong communication and team collaboration skills ### What's included - Flexible PRN shift scheduling - No traditional call responsibilities - Supportive clinical environment within a recognized health system ### About the practice Ascension St. Vincent Fishers Hospital is part of Ascension, one of the largest nonprofit Catholic health systems in the United States.
