Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician

Ascension Medical Group is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician to join the adult cardiac surgery program at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis, Indiana. ### What you'll do - Perform adult cardiac surgical procedures with a focus on cardiac transplantation - Manage patients requiring mechanical circulatory support (MCS) devices - Lead clinical decision-making for complex cardiac surgery cases - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary heart failure and transplant team - Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the cardiac surgery program ### What we're looking for - Board certification or board eligibility in Cardiothoracic Surgery - Demonstrated experience or fellowship training in cardiac transplantation and mechanical circulatory support - Active Indiana medical license or eligibility to obtain one - Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered surgical care - Strong collaborative skills for working within a multidisciplinary team ### What's included - Compensation details available upon inquiry - Full benefits package through Ascension Medical Group - Malpractice coverage provided - CME allowance and support for continuing education ### About the practice Ascension St. Vincent is part of Ascension, one of the largest nonprofit Catholic health systems in the United States, with a well-established cardiac surgery program recognized for clinical excellence and innovation.
