OB/GYN Hospitalist

Ascension Medical Group is seeking a per-diem OB/GYN Hospitalist to join its labor and delivery team in Carmel, IN. ### What you'll do - Provide inpatient OB/GYN coverage across labor, delivery, and postpartum units - Lead emergency gynecologic surgical interventions as needed - Collaborate with a dedicated nursing team to support safe patient outcomes - Optimize delivery workflows and triage protocols on shift - Respond to obstetric and gynecologic emergencies in the hospital setting ### What we're looking for - Board certification or board eligibility in OB/GYN - Active Indiana medical license or eligibility to obtain one - Experience in a hospital-based or laborist/hospitalist OB/GYN role preferred - Demonstrated competency in emergency gynecologic surgery - Ability to work PRN shifts with schedule flexibility ### What's included - Per-diem (PRN) shift scheduling with flexibility - Affiliation with a large, mission-driven health system ### About the practice Ascension Medical Group is the employed physician group of Ascension, one of the largest nonprofit Catholic health systems in the United States.
