What You Will Do
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.
- Join an established team of physicians and advanced practice providers (including NNPs, PAs, and PNPs)
- Call structure: In-house night call at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital and Ascension St. Vincent Carmel (Schedule TBD)
- Practice setting: Inpatient (Level III and IV NICUs)
- Access to Athena/Sunrise EMR, a brand-new 109 private-room NICU tower, a comprehensive array of pediatric medical/surgical subspecialties, and telehealth connectivity to regional nurseries
- Employed position within a nonprofit health system
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology
- Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
- Provide high-level clinical services for neonates admitted to Level III and IV units, managing high-risk delivery attendance, maternal-fetal consultations, and coordinated discharge planning with case management.
- Actively engage in medical education by supervising and instructing pediatric residents, medical students, and advanced practice providers, with access to faculty appointments through IU School of Medicine and Marian University.
- Drive clinical excellence and quality improvement initiatives, including participation in the Vermont Oxford Network to optimize patient care and cost-effectiveness.
- Fellowship training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine required

- 125-bed combined neonatal network (109 private NICU beds at the main campus Women’s and Children's tower, and a 16-bed Level III NICU at Ascension St. Vincent Carmel)
- Trauma designation (Comprehensive Pediatric Trauma and specialized surgical services available within the network)
- Serving a population of approximately 2 million in the greater Indianapolis metropolitan area

What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
