What You Will Do
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.
- Join an established team of 3 physicians and 24/7 APP trauma support
- Call structure: q3 to q4 home call (no in-house call)
- Practice setting: Inpatient/Outpatient mix (limited to 1 location)
- Access to seasoned pediatric support (including a first assistant) for after-hour call cases, fantastic weekday RN clinic help, and an integrated EMR system (Athena and Sunrise)
- Employed position within a nonprofit health system
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric General Surgery
- Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
- Provide comprehensive operative care for general, thoracic, ECMO, and pediatric trauma cases while actively participating in the growth and development of the surgical program.
- Teach, mentor, and supervise general surgery residents, medical students, and new graduate surgeons within a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Fellowship training in Pediatric General Surgery required

- 197-bed pediatric facility (including 40 private inpatient beds, 8 short-stay beds, 23 PICU beds, 17 Pediatric ED beds, and a 109-bed Level IV NICU)
- Level One Children’s Surgery Verified (CSV) and Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center

What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
