Nocturnist

Ascension Medical Group is hiring a Nocturnist to provide overnight inpatient care at their facility in Indianapolis, IN. ### What you'll do - Manage overnight inpatient care across hospital medicine units - Evaluate and treat new admissions and transfers during night shifts - Respond to after-hours clinical changes and patient deterioration - Coordinate with nursing staff, consultants, and care teams on overnight issues - Document patient progress and communicate handoff summaries to day-shift providers ### What we're looking for - MD or DO with board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Hospital Medicine - Active Indiana medical license or eligibility to obtain - Demonstrated experience in inpatient or hospital medicine settings - Comfort managing a broad range of overnight clinical presentations - Strong communication and care-coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams ### What's included - Compensation details available upon application - Full benefits package through Ascension Medical Group - Malpractice coverage provided - CME allowance and support for continued education - Retirement plan options ### About the practice Ascension Medical Group is one of the largest nonprofit health systems in the United States, operating a broad network of hospitals and outpatient facilities.
