Internal Medicine Hospitalist

Ascension Medical Group is hiring a full-time Internal Medicine Hospitalist to join its inpatient team in Sparta, Tennessee. ### What you'll do - Lead daily clinical rounds for admitted patients on the inpatient unit - Manage patient care from admission through discharge, including care coordination and transitions - Collaborate with specialists, nurses, and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes - Document clinical findings and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner ### What we're looking for - MD or DO with board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine or Hospitalist Medicine - Active Tennessee medical license or eligibility to obtain one - Demonstrated ability to manage a high-acuity inpatient caseload - Strong communication and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary team ### What's included - Balanced shift schedule designed to support work-life sustainability - Comprehensive benefits package through Ascension Medical Group - Malpractice coverage provided ### About the practice Ascension Medical Group is part of Ascension, one of the largest nonprofit Catholic health systems in the United States, with a broad presence across Tennessee and nationally.
