Physician, Neurohospitalist

Ascension Medical Group is hiring a Neurohospitalist physician at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN. ### What you'll do - Evaluate and manage inpatient neurological conditions across a hospital-based setting - Provide timely consultation and treatment for acute neurological emergencies including stroke - Collaborate with hospitalists, specialists, and nursing staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care - Document clinical findings, treatment plans, and discharge summaries in accordance with hospital standards - Participate in patient rounds and interdisciplinary care team meetings ### What we're looking for - MD or DO with board certification or board eligibility in Neurology - Active Tennessee medical license or eligibility to obtain one - Experience or fellowship training in neurohospitalist or vascular neurology preferred - Strong clinical skills in acute inpatient neurological care - Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary hospital team ### What's included - Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience - Comprehensive benefits through Ascension Medical Group - Malpractice coverage provided - CME allowance and support for ongoing education - Retirement plan options ### About the practice Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital is a full-service acute care hospital serving Murfreesboro and the surrounding Middle Tennessee region.
