Neurohospitalist

Ascension Medical Group is recruiting a Neurohospitalist to join the team at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN. ### What you'll do - Evaluate and manage patients presenting with acute neurological conditions in the inpatient setting - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive neurological care - Provide consultative neurology services to hospitalized patients across the facility - Participate in stroke response and acute neurological emergency protocols - Support continuity of care through clear documentation and handoff communication ### What we're looking for - MD or DO with board certification or board eligibility in Neurology - Active Tennessee medical license or eligibility to obtain one - Training or clinical experience in acute inpatient/neurohospitalist care - Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary hospital environment - Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills ### What's included - Compensation and benefits details available upon application - Ascension Medical Group offers a comprehensive benefits package typical of a large health system - CME allowance and professional development support - Malpractice coverage provided ### About the practice Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital is part of Ascension, one of the largest nonprofit Catholic health systems in the United States.
