Physician, Neurohospitalist

Ascension Medical Group is seeking a full-time Neurohospitalist to join the inpatient neurology team at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN. ### What you'll do - Provide inpatient neurological care to admitted patients at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital - Evaluate and manage acute neurological conditions including stroke, seizure, and altered mental status - Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, and surgical teams on complex neurological cases - Support a strong referral network across the Ascension Medical Group system - Participate in care coordination and discharge planning for neurological patients ### What we're looking for - MD or DO degree with completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology residency - Board certification or active board eligibility in Neurology - Active Tennessee medical license or eligibility to obtain one - Clinical experience in inpatient or hospital-based neurology preferred - Commitment to collaborative, team-based patient care ### What's included - Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience - Comprehensive benefits through Ascension Medical Group - Malpractice coverage provided - CME allowance and paid CME time - Retirement savings plan ### About the practice Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital is a full-service acute care facility in Murfreesboro, TN, part of the Ascension Saint Thomas regional health system.
