What You Will Do
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected hospital system, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.
- Join an established team
- Call structure: 15 days of call coverage per month
- Practice setting: Inpatient
- Access to Support staff
- Employed position within a nonprofit health system
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
- Provide comprehensive pediatric care for newborns, infants, children and adolescents in the level 2 nursery inpatient setting
- Attend deliveries and provide newborn assessments, stabilization, and routine nursery care as needed
- Manage care for normal newborn nursery patients, including admissions, daily rounds, discharge planning, and parent education
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation within the electronic medical record system

What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
