What You Will Do
Ascension Seton is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine physician for our Ascension Seton Luling Health Center.
This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Seton to provide medical services to patients.
Position Highlights:
- Luling is located about 40 miles east of Austin
- Lots of growth in area due to proximity to Tesla Factory and Samsung
- High demand for Primary Care providers in area
- Specialists are available to the provider due to the vast resources of Ascension Texas. Smithville has cardiology, general surgery and orthopedics on site each week
Responsibilities:
- Provide medical services to patients in an assigned area.
- Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
- Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
- Participate in academic programs (eg medical education and research) as requested.
- Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements. Appeal all denials in a timely manner.
- Opportunity to participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules.

What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
