About the Community
Ypsilanti sits adjacent to Ann Arbor in Washtenaw County — a region that consistently ranks among Michigan's most desirable places to live and work. Ann Arbor, located 45 miles west of Detroit, blends the intellectual energy of a Big Ten university town with the walkability and character of a small city: a thriving downtown, the Ann Arbor Street Art Fair, a year-round Farmer's Market, live entertainment, and an exceptional restaurant scene. The University of Michigan anchors a culture of continuous learning and professional growth, while the area's cost of living remains accessible relative to comparable academic medical markets on the coasts.
