<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or vocational/technical training required</li> <li>Completion of a Certified Sterile Processing (CSP) Tech course required</li> <li>Active sterile processing certification through IAHCSMM (International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management) or CBSPD (Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution) required</li> <li>American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification required</li> <li>Up to one year of sterile processing work experience required</li> <li>Proficiency in decontamination, instrument assembly and packaging, sterilizer operation, biological and chemical testing, and sterile storage protocols</li> <li>Compliance with all PPE requirements and infection control standards</li> </ul>
