Practice Highlights
- Performs diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures across all patient age groups — newborn through elderly
- Operates radiation detection equipment in collaboration with supervising physicians and practitioners
- Orders, prepares, and administers radiopharmaceuticals via injection, ingestion, or inhalation as indicated by procedure
- Identifies and handles radioactive substances in compliance with established safety and procedural protocols
- Processes and files imaging films as required by departmental workflow
- Part of a five-hospital regional system with a dedicated children's hospital and broad subspecialty service lines

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program (required)
- ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine (N) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) credential required
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- State licensure required if mandated by Texas regulations
- 1–3 years of nuclear medicine experience preferred; new graduates from accredited programs are encouraged to apply
- Demonstrated professional judgment in patient care across diverse acuity levels and age ranges
