A well-established Anesthesiology group in Sarasota, Florida is recruiting a board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist to join a stable, collegial team providing care at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital — a 155-bed acute and general care facility — and a nearby ambulatory surgery center. The practice operates on an Anesthesia Care Team (ACT) model with a defined, manageable case mix that deliberately excludes obstetrics, cardiac, trauma, and neurological cases. With 10 weeks of paid time off and home call only, this position is purpose-built for physicians who want a high-quality clinical environment without sacrificing lifestyle in one of the most desirable coastal markets in the country.

Qualifications

  • Board certification or board eligibility in Anesthesiology (American Board of Anesthesiology)
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency
  • Active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain prior to start
  • Comfort with the full ACT model — both independent case management and CRNA supervision
  • Clinical proficiency across general, orthopedic, vascular, plastic, and robotic surgery anesthesia
