- Clinical responsibilities include ongoing patient assessment, plan-of-care initiation and documentation, medication verification and administration, IV therapy management, diagnostic data interpretation, and critical lab value notification per protocol
- Multidisciplinary collaboration model integrating physician and psychosocial input into care planning
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) required; higher nursing degrees welcome
- Monitor experience or completion of an EKG course (or Learnshare equivalent) required
- Two or more years of experience in acute care, critical care, or emergency department settings strongly preferred
- Valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from state of residence required; RNs holding a Compact state license from another state must obtain a Multi-State RN License from their state of residence within 30 days of hire
- American Heart Association BLS CPR required; must be obtained within 7 days of hire
- American Heart Association ACLS, PALS, and CPI certification required within the orientation period
- ENPC, TNCC, and CEN certifications preferred
