Medical City Dallas — an 890-bed quaternary referral center and one of the most subspecialty-rich hospital campuses in the Southwest — is recruiting a Site Medical Director for its Pulmonary/Critical Care program. This is a dual clinical-leadership role that pairs protected director time with 12-hour block-scheduled shifts, an hourly-plus-RVU compensation model, and direct access to a collegial executive hospital leadership team. The position is ideal for a fellowship-trained Pulmonary/Critical Care physician ready to step into a formal leadership track at a nationally recognized, high-acuity institution in Dallas, TX.

Qualifications

  • Fellowship training in Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine required
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Pulmonary Disease and/or Critical Care Medicine
  • Active Texas medical license or application actively in process
  • Prior physician leadership experience preferred (program director, medical director, section chief, or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and recruit clinical staff in a high-acuity environment
