Qualifications
- Physician Assistant (PA-C) with current NCCPA certification, or Nurse Practitioner with acute-care training and certification (ACNP-BC or AGACNP-BC preferred)
- Active Texas state license or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- Inpatient / hospitalist experience strongly aligned with this role; acute-care background required for NP candidates
- Comfort managing a census of up to 40 patients in a high-acuity, multi-specialty hospital environment
- No procedural requirements given the closed ICU model
