The city boasts more than 1,000 restaurants, premier shopping destinations, a thriving arts scene, and extensive parks and green space, including the nationally recognized Plano Balloon Festival each September. Texas's lack of a state income tax, combined with Plano's consistently high rankings for safety, top-rated public schools, and suburban quality of life, makes this one of the most attractive relocation destinations in the Sun Belt.</p>
