- Level 2 Cardiac Care designation with a dedicated cardiac anesthesia team covering advanced structural and vascular procedures
- Low-risk but busy OB service staffed by a dedicated OB anesthesia team; Nighthawk OB team covers overnight in-house call
- No in-house call for physicians; physicians rotate backup call only — callback is rare
- Facility breakdown: 207 private acute care beds plus 120 long-term care, sub-acute rehabilitation, and Hospice beds (327 beds total)
- Specialty service lines include oncology, imaging, orthopedics and spine, digestive health, emergency services, lung and thoracic, women's health, weight management, men's health, and a cardiac program launched in 2019
Qualifications
- Board certification or board eligibility in Anesthesiology (American Board of Anesthesiology)
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency; fellowship training in cardiac, regional, or another subspecialty is a plus given the case mix
- Active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain
- Demonstrated leadership experience or readiness to step into a Vice Chief / Chief role within a large, multi-clinician anesthesia department
- Comfort with both personally performed cases and supervision of CRNAs and AAs in a care-team model
- Proficiency across the full case mix, including cardiac, vascular, thoracic, robotic, and OB anesthesia
