Bethesda Hospital East — a 400-bed academic medical center in Boynton Beach, Florida and a flagship campus of Baptist Health South Florida — is recruiting a board-certified or board-eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join a well-established, subspecialty-focused anesthesia care team. The cardiac service covers a high-acuity structural and surgical case mix including CABG, valve surgery, TAVR, MitraClip, Tricuspid Clip, and atrial occlusion devices. A 2-on/1-off block schedule delivers approximately 17 weeks off per year, and home-based cardiac call with very limited callbacks makes this one of the more lifestyle-friendly cardiac anesthesia positions in South Florida.

Practice Highlights
- Cardiac case mix: CABG, valve surgery, TAVR, MitraClip, Tricuspid Clip, and atrial occlusion devices — a full structural and surgical cardiac program
- Dedicated cardiac anesthesia team of 5: 3 cardiac anesthesiologists and 2 cardiac CRNAs, embedded within a broader anesthesia care team of 15 physicians and 28 CRNAs/AAs
- Primary assignment to the cardiac unit with the opportunity to float to the main OR for general adult cases (OB, GYN, ENT, urology, orthopedics, spine, vascular, regional, and neuro)
- 2-on/1-off block schedule yielding approximately 17 weeks off per year — a genuine work-life balance structure
- Home-based cardiac call with very limited callbacks
- 400-bed acute care facility with 24/7 emergency care, a Level III NICU, advanced cardiac and vascular services, oncology, orthopedics, women's health, and an acute inpatient rehabilitation unit
- Minimally invasive robotic surgery program on campus
- Teaching hospital affiliated with Florida Atlantic University's Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine; also home to the Bethesda College of Health Sciences

Qualifications
- Board certification or board eligibility in Anesthesiology (ABA)
- Completed cardiothoracic (cardiovascular) fellowship training
- Demonstrated expertise in transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
- Active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain
