APPs operate with meaningful clinical autonomy — functioning independently in both the Fast Track and vertical zone with physician backup — within a well-resourced department running Epic EMR. - 34 acute ED beds, 4 dedicated psychiatric beds, and 5 Fast Track beds

- Full spectrum of emergent and critical care: serious injuries, life-threatening illness, and multi-system organ failure
- APPs function independently in Fast Track and vertical zone with physician backup — not a scribe or shadow role

Qualifications
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Medicine experience in an NP or PA role — required

- Comfort managing the full acuity range of a busy community ED, including Fast Track and vertical care models
