About the Community

McKinney sits approximately 30 miles north of downtown Dallas, offering a picturesque small-town character — tree-lined streets, a charming historic downtown, and diverse residential neighborhoods — that stands apart from the broader Metroplex. The city consistently ranks among the fastest-growing in the nation, with outstanding public schools, a robust business environment, and a strong sense of community that makes it a natural draw for physicians relocating with families. Proximity to Dallas-Fort Worth means world-class dining, arts, professional sports, and a major international airport are all within easy reach, while day-to-day living in McKinney carries a notably lower cost of living than comparable urban markets.
