A Detroit, Michigan cardiology program is recruiting a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a dedicated night-shift inpatient role embedded within an established, collaborative cardiovascular team. This position offers consistent overnight coverage alongside experienced cardiologists and advanced practice providers, delivering high-acuity cardiac care across both hospital and outpatient clinic settings in one of the Midwest's major urban medical markets.

Qualifications

  • Master's-prepared Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) — NP degree required at minimum for NP applicants
  • Active Michigan RNP license (or eligibility to obtain) required; PA applicants must hold current applicable state licensure
  • Current certification and registration to practice as required by Michigan law, regulation, and facility Medical Staff Bylaws
  • Additional specialty certification(s) per governing board and in accordance with facility credentialing requirements
  • Cardiology experience or strong interest in cardiovascular advanced practice preferred given the inpatient acuity of the role
