Chief CRNA Responsibilities
- Scheduling and staffing oversight for the CRNA team
- Recruitment support — interviewing candidates and attending recruiting events
- Serving as the primary liaison between CRNA staff and hospital leadership
- Acting as a clinical resource within the anesthesia department and across the hospital
- Participating in leadership and professional development activities
- Assisting the Chief Anesthesiologist with CRNA performance reviews
- Overseeing orientation and onboarding of all new CRNA hires
Qualifications
- Board certification or board eligibility as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Active Florida CRNA licensure or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- Clinical proficiency across a broad case mix including OB, Robotics, Neuro, and outpatient Pediatrics
- Demonstrated or developing leadership experience — scheduling, mentorship, or departmental oversight preferred
- Comfort functioning as a clinical resource and departmental liaison in a collaborative, physician-led anesthesia care team model
