El Paso's largest orthopedic group is recruiting a fellowship-trained spine surgeon to join an established, high-volume practice based at The Hospitals of Providence – Sierra Campus. This is a rare entry into a mature surgical practice — an incoming physician inherits a built-in patient base and can expect 18–22 spine surgeries per month from the outset, backed by the infrastructure of a nationally recognized health system. The schedule is structured for sustainability: 1–2 OR days per week, 3–4 clinic days, and no call obligations. El Paso's no-state-income-tax environment and below-average cost of living make the compensation package stretch further than comparable markets.

About the Community
El Paso consistently ranks among the safest large cities in the United States and offers a cost of living well below the national average — a combination that is genuinely rare in a metro of its size. The city enjoys more than 300 days of sunshine per year, Franklin Mountains State Park within city limits, and easy access to the broader landscapes of West Texas and southern New Mexico. A vibrant Southwestern culture, strong arts and dining scene, Division I universities, and solid private schools round out a community that is well-suited for physicians planting long-term roots.
