Medical City Children's Hospital in Dallas, Texas is recruiting a Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician to join its dedicated nocturnist team. This 254-bed, award-winning children's hospital is the flagship pediatric facility within the Medical City network and operates one of the region's fastest-growing pediatric emergency programs. Physicians practice alongside an exceptional subspecialty bench — including pediatric surgery, neurosurgery, cardiology, and hematology-oncology — with the full infrastructure of a high-acuity children's hospital behind every shift. The nocturnist model offers enhanced overnight compensation and a focused, predictable schedule for clinicians who prefer nights.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) fellowship, or a 4-year dual Emergency Medicine residency
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Emergency Medicine or Emergency Medicine
  • Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain
  • Comfort with the full spectrum of high-acuity pediatric emergency presentations, including critically ill and complex subspecialty patients
