Baptist Health Corbin is recruiting a board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine physician to join a well-supported ED team in Corbin, Kentucky. This 273-bed acute and skilled-care hospital serves more than 200,000 residents across southeastern Kentucky and parts of Tennessee, generating 42,000 annual ED visits with robust APP coverage and Epic EMR. The facility is in the midst of a $100 million expansion — including a doubling of current ED space — scheduled for completion in early 2027, making this an exceptional time to plant roots in a growing, award-winning regional health system.

Qualifications

  • Board certification or board eligibility in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or ABOEM)
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine residency
  • Active Kentucky medical license or eligibility to obtain prior to start
  • Comfort managing the full acuity spectrum of a high-volume community ED, including trauma stabilization and time-sensitive cardiac and stroke presentations
