Valley Anesthesia — the exclusive anesthesia group for Banner Estrella and Banner Thunderbird Medical Centers since 1983 — is recruiting a board-certified or board-eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist for a fixed-shift position in Glendale, Arizona. This is a daytime-only, weekday role built around daily cardiac subspecialty work: on/off-pump open heart surgery and a full cath lab structural heart program including TAVR, MitraClip, TMVR, and LAA occlusion devices. The compensation package totals $535K (base plus bonus), and the schedule is three 12-hour weekday shifts per week with no weekends and no overnight call — a rare combination in cardiac anesthesia.

Qualifications

  • Board certification or board eligibility in Anesthesiology (ABA)
  • Fellowship training in Cardiac Anesthesiology required
  • Active Arizona medical license or eligibility to obtain
  • Clinical proficiency in on-pump and off-pump cardiac surgery anesthesia
  • Comfort with cath lab structural heart procedures: TAVR, MitraClip, TMVR, and LAA occlusion devices
